Then came Saturday. Game day. I woke up early to go to Martial arts across campus. However, when I got there, I was told that it was canceled. Just my luck. I vented a bit too much to my roommates at brunch and was directed to sleep it off for an hour. That I did. Who was I to argue against a nap? Then came the game. It was good expect for the expected drunks in front of us, the constant rainfall, and the bone-chilling wind. We escaped the cold at halftime and watched the remainder in our dorm before dinner. After dinner it was assumed that I would productive since there was nothing else to do. Let me introduce Amazon Prime. My equivalent of Netflix. A casual flick through the available titles led me to binge (typical of my generation) season two of American Horror Story. A show that I had started with my roommate last year. So unashamedly I watched the last eight episodes in the season without break and then went to sleep.
Sunday is always a busy day for me because what happened on Friday and Saturday is not really an anomaly. Thus I find myself on that grind where I lock (figuratively) myself in good ole Club Hes until 1 in the morning completing everything that is due Monday. Darn me and my lazy side. I vow that this shall be the last time something like this happens. I am determined to fight this Ms. Lazypants side of me (lazy not murderous). Dr. Chen-Goodspeed (not a real doctor) will conquer! Give me victory or give me another day of procrastination…
See y'all tomorrow!
